The best thing you can do for your body and mind is to not wear clothes for too long, says a Mumbai-based dermatologist.
“Your skin is getting tired, your skin is deteriorating.
If you wear clothes you will get wrinkled and you’ll get tired and your skin will become inflamed,” Dr Rajesh Kumar told the audience.
The most common cause of ageing in India is lack of exposure to sunlight and indoor air pollution.
Dr Kumar also said people who wear a lot of clothes should not wash them daily, as they can cause skin irritations.
“When you’re wearing so much clothes and when your skin gets irritated, it becomes a problem,” he said.
He added that when people wear the same clothing for so many years they can become dependent on it, which could lead to a host of health problems.
“They wear clothes, wear them and keep on wearing them.
So they need to wear them a lot,” he explained.
